Our Plot

[Cold]

A group has arrived to Northbell City and they don't plan on leaving. People are disappearing overnight and bodies end up on your doorstep. The screams of the tortured rise in the night and are silenced by day. The monsters of the city are hidden in its depths, their reasons unknown. Who are these people slaughtering the innocent and can they be stopped?

So basically there is a cult of humans who believe in a certain 'god' of whom tells them to go out and murder the 'tainted' or the monsters and humans with powers. But in order to hide themselves from suspicion they also leave human sacrifices on the door steps of other humans. The cult is also taking monsters and making them disappear from existence.

What we need:

- A cult name
- What the 'god' should be
- Any other add ons you think would be cool.

P.S~ There will be a sign up form in the Events for the people who want to be a cult member, the 'god', the murdered, and also the ones who disappear.

So I think I pretty much get what the "Cult" want. Anything not 100% human gone. Some things.

1. Do you want it connected to a God that they worship similar to one in RL or possibly a made-up one?
2. How far back would you say the cult goes or are they a traveling group that have this divine belief that they must "purify" every city and town they come to?
3. Something I thought of : What if they kidnapped the demons, monsters, super humans and tried to turn them human with research, science, and pray and when it doesn't work, they slaughter them and leave the bodies.

Well I was thinking of a made-up one only I was also going to make it a playable character for whomever wanted to lead the plot. I was wanting it to be some dark creature with no real humanity or emotion other than pain, misery, loathing, etc. A God like in real life seemed kind of boring to me and I mean, a playable bad guy always appealed to me.

Hoe far back? I suppose they've been around for a few months. They are recent and I didn't really think about whther they are native to Northbell or are a 'traveling group'. I have to say I like the idea and will probably add it. It already says that they 'arrived' so it wouldn't be so bad. 

And your though...
I loved it. I think that would make it far more inhuman for the plot and morbid for the RPers in which a real threat is present. I'll bite the plot idea for sure.

Cool cool.... I'm thinking of possibly taking the role to get things moving! But if you had someone in mind to take it that is cool too. I already know my second character will be in the cult regardless of station!

GOD/CULT

1. Unisex possibly? Other then that I would pin it being female simply because of the cold rage and wrath. But I think Unisex sounds better for this particular role.
2. Would the group collect those like them, feeding on the pain and sorrow of loosing someone to a demon/monster/superhuman?
3. What sort of direction are you thinking for the cult group with the God? Only there to kill all then bounce out? Looking for something permanent? Possibly a chapter of something bigger? Getting ready for a ritual to "rid" the city based on what this Demon has told them only to find out they were all betrayed? There's so much to do with this!!!!

Okay and now for some Cult Names.

NAMES

1. Reise - German word for Rise
2. Bokure - Japanese for "Phantump" but mainly for the pokedex entery gave me an idea about how the cult could work "According to old tales, these Pokémon are stumps possessed by the spirits of children who died while lost in the forest." I'll elaborate if you like it.
3. Leer - German word for Empty.

I just feel like it would be name with either Latin or German connections, possibly Russian. But something harsh sounding for sure unless you wanted something different.

Unisex, huh? I haven't thought of that one yet. I didn't really have preference for gender or anythin so long as they fitted the role and were active.

You mean like those inside the group? Like recruiting? Yeah actually. When they move from one town to the next they are certain to pick up a few new members.

Well what I was thinking was that the cult wasn't just one gorup but actually multiple that were occupying multiple cities at a time and taking out the enemy. When they have cleansed a city they usually would set up a camp and keep an eye should any sort of 'filth' come back to the city. It's definitely on a much larger scale than just one small cult.
Another idea I was harboring was that they were looking for a suitable place to materialize their 'God'. And Northbell just so happens to be suitable. So in some terms, yes, they are getting ready to perform a ritual.

NAMES

I liked Reis. I do know about Pokemon quite bit, not to sure about the name though. I don't see the connection from the Dex entry to the cult.
And Leer seems a little 'empty' XD.

Well glad to see that we were on the same wavelength then! I really like the idea for them to be planning a ritual to bring the God into Northbell City.

So for now till they are ready to bring said God all you need then are cult followers, murders, and guidelines to what they will and will not accept?

Yeah that's about it. I'd be alright if you took the God position if you genuinely wanted to. If you don't want to you don't have to force yourself.

I had an idea for the God but it all depends on if I should make the profile now and wait till the time comes or if I should wait to make it when the ritual is close....

It doesn't matter either way to me. I was thinking the 'God' could be like an entity until it is actually summoned.

That would be cool. If I'm taking the God then I would still need time to think... I have most of it planned but some stuff is up in the air still. I also don't want to make God too powerful and still unsure of the Demon type.

Any ideas?
