Grey clouds swirled about the dark sky. The forest was alive with wildlife that were fleeing to there homes. The oncoming clouds predicting rain for the unfortunate traveler. She had traveled for hours on end to get here before something bad happen. Her large black wings stretched across the grey sky, her red hair very visible against the red. She wore a light jacket, holes where her wings were. She had cut it very well, using buttons and hooks to allow it to close.
The wind began to pick up and she knew she would have to land. Her wings flapped, slowing pace and allowing her body to lightly lower to the ground. She landed on both feet, her dark blue eyes looking about the trees. Her dark clothes making her hard to see through the darkness. Her wings folded against her back and she walked slowly, her red hair being blown in the crisp wind. She strolled to a path, but wasn't sure if she was at her destination yet.

Lon sat in one of the forest trees, his hands fallen to rest on his thighs. He had a simple attire, even as the wind blew brown the trees. He shook his head, his bleached hair covering his eyes. It had been an hour since his last demon 'takeover' and he still hadn't completely turned back. As of late, when ever he went bezerk, his hair turned white and his eyes would darkened into orange embers. His wings still burned against his back and he could feel blood drip down the base of his spine as the bony wings tore his skin. His horns swirled to a lethal point and his face was blank. He looked up at the sky, the grey clouds holding the foreboding promise of rain. Lon flexed his wings, the leathery appendages whining with relief as he stretched them. He had never flown with them and he didn't really want to. His urges were stronger and as long as he didn't know how to fly his demon wouldn't either. He sighed and brushed his fingers along his jeans, he could not go home yet, but the rain was heavy in the air and it wouldn't be long before it poured. Suddenly the best of wings caught his attention and he tensed, pressing himself into the shadows to avoid being spotted. But he was quickly usher back into relief as he saw that he knew this person from the previous city she lived in. The one that turned him into what he was today. He jumped down from the tree, is new anesthetic legs go if him the ability to do more physical activities than he could with his wheelchair. "Yo." He chirped in a clipped and staccato voice.

[xD Oh yeah these two met in Nova City.]
With her wings folded against her back, Mocking Bird waited in hopes to find out where she was. Her father had told her about the new technology they were making. She would soon get something other then a cell phone to call her father. Yes a cell phone was fashionable and common to see, but it was too easy to loose. Mocking hoped for the technicians to be finished it before she had to leave for Northbell, but she was out of luck.
She rummaged through her belongings, looking for the map to find out where she was. She could feel cans and other small things she had packed away. The sum of money hidden in the bottom, yet she was having troubles finding the map. However when she heard a voice she quickly zipped up her small bag and turned to see a man. His hair was bleached, round horns on the side and at last a pair of leathery wings on his back.
As Mocking stood watching him, examining his figure, like a fighter would size an opponent up for a fight. Most people would see the demon as threat, but Mocking soothed. It was pretty much what she was, just a lot more vicious and blood thirsty. At least from what she had heard. She had little to none experience with demons, so she was still ready to move if needed. She decided to take her chances, perhaps he knew where she was.
Although anti-social, Mocking had seen the very many tricks her father used. "Hello Sir. If I may ask, do you know where this is?" Mocking asked in a kind manner. She wished to snap and escape, but her father had taught her how to be nice when needed. It was more like deceive someone for information.

Lon looked her over, not much had changed for the red-haired angel. She looked no different from the way she looked. Her hair was still a long and luxurious maroon. In fact she looked like she just got here. His assumptions were proven when she asked him where they were. It also told him that she didn't recognize him. Course not, he didn't expect her to anyways. The demon before was a completely different person, snappish, a jerk. But now he was changed, at least in some aspects. He was mobile at least, the only thing that indicated his disability being the dark wooden cane that he clasped in his left hand. He had cut his hair too, grown taller and was overall a lot more appealing. But he also was changing for the worse. He left Nova City approximately two years since he moved away from the god-forsaken city that made him a monster. He crossed his arms over his chest and sighed. He gestured around him, "This is Northbell Forest. Although you shouldn't stay here much longer, there is rain in the wind and it won't be long before it lets go." He cautioned. He glanced up at the sky, the distant strips of rain evident to where the rain had already struck. "Nice to see a familiar face around here, Mocking." He cooed with a smirk. He didn't mean much name but a nice surprise was due for the dark angel seeing as she didn't recognize him.

Mocking had forgotten her past life, letting it go so she didn't have to think of it. However was happy to finally make it to her destination. No more flying needed really, but she had just arrived from a long flight. Her wings felt tired and almost seemed to droop. Northbell City was probably close by if this was the forest.
She was looking down the path and scouting the area to make sure that she would recognize this spot. Knowing her location was a good start. Her new mission would be a lot better, she would actually get to explore the city, and maybe not hide her wings. Mocking knew she just had to stay out of trouble and not get caught. She could always lie and say her wings were dyed or that they were just a dark blue.
It was true after all, some light angels had dark blue wings rather then crisp white. She nodded at his words, it was true that the clouds were twisted and darkening. However when she heard her name she whipped back around to face the mystery man. She began to rake her mind for a memory of the man and soon remembered the guy in the wheelchair.
However he wasn't in a wheelchair now. That was when she remembered and soothed. Maybe a few familiar faces wouldn't be so bad. "Now I remember you. Your name was Lon right? Sorry, we only met once and I would rather not remember the past." Mocking explained. However it was okay for one, it would be nice to have someone she knew. Mocking just looked back at the sky once again.
"Yeah, it is getting bad, but I just arrived, so I guess I am camping." Mocking sighed. She decided not to bother snapping. She didn't want to make an enemy yet, especially if she didn't know the city at all. She would have no advantages if she even tried, other then her talented fighting skill. "So, when did you get here anyways? Also, what happened to the wheelchair?" Mocking asked curiously.

He smirked and gave a small wave as that look of recognition lit up her eyes and he tilted his head as she spoke up. Lon nodded and tucked his wings as close to his back as he possibly could. He walked over and began to speak of himself and what happened. Lon couldn't leave just yet. "Yeah, I understand. I can't go home just yet either, but it wouldn't be the first time I've been stuck in a storm like this." He said exasperated. He leaned against the cane and began to weave the story of how he ended up in this town. "I arrived here about two years ago. Life wasn't all that exciting or good, it was getting worse with these sudden urges to kill and eat. I spoke to a specialist about it and they recommended me to another person here who could supposedly help me hone in my demon and abilities. It's been hard. I live in another apartment close to the hospital in the city since that's where the specialist is. And about the wheelchair...I still have it. But when I arrived here I also found a guy who said he couldn't help me out and he sort of manipulated my nervous system with some weird gizmos. It works most of the time but occasionally it'll short out and I'm left cripple again. It's a pain in the ass to be honest." He sighed and rubbed his temple. "So any specific reason you came here? I've seen a few others here, but I haven't exactly made any friends." He said with a pinch of sarcasm.

It all made sense, it seemed like he came here for help. Besides, this place would be better, Nova City was a crime war zone. Not the best place for help, but a good place to find criminals to side with. It was true, there was a lot of crime back in Nova City, that wasn't the reason she left though. Mocking nodded, it all made sense and it did sound like a pain.
One moment your walking then all of sudden you become cripple out of no where. It had to suck and must made it hard to move in the rain. By Mocking's guess the rain was part of the reason he was stuck out here. Unable to go back to the city and into a nice warm house. She already knew flying wouldn't help at all, he would probably get more wet. With the rain coming, it would be hard to move, but camping wasn't too bad.
She lifted her head when he asked her why she was here. There were many reason, but she decided not to explain it too much, very dramatic. "I came here to start up again. Things weren't going well in Nova City and from my immature getting in trouble. I could stay, plus there were too many people who made life there a living hell. Yes I lived in a nice house, but possession is nothing when it is a terrible place. Plus it was getting too dramatic. So I asked my father if I could get a new mission, so I got out. He sent me here to do more scouting." Mocking explained.
That was when he heard there were more people from Nova City here. He wondered who was here, and what happened that caused them to leave. "Who else is here?" Mocking asked, hoping her sister was here. She wanted to start over and meet her sister face to face. She hadn't seen Raven for so long and it would be nice to be reunited. However in secrecy of course, considering she was a light angel.
However Mocking wasn't turning back to that path. She loved her dark life, considering her real parents were dead. She didn't remember them anyways, so she got a step-father and became this. The wind began to blow more furiously and it looked like she wasn't going anywhere. "Well I guess I am stuck here. Flying in this weather wouldn't be very great. Too easy to get hurt." Mocking sighed.

He nodded, he couldn't really relate to her drama problem but she was right about the overcrowded and crime rates. It was a bad city to be in, especially for people so young like the two of them. He scratched at the back of his neck before going on about whom was in the city and whom was not. He had only met a few people and seen like...one other person. He hadn't met them personally but he had read about her and seen her multiple time in the newspaper back in the previous city. "Well, there is you and me. The other day I ran into a friend of mine, she's a light angel although I doubt you know her, Agenta. And I haven't run into her, but I've seen her. I believe her name was Rose or something. Either way those are the people I know are here. I'm not exactly the most popular guy either so it wouldn't strike me as surprising if there were other people too." He hadn't met really anyone else back when he was chair bound and useless. He opened up his wings and covered his head as a few rain drops began to fall. It wasn't long until a light sprinkle began to fall from the heavens and all of it's grey glory. He looked at her as she buffeted against the wind and waved at her to follow him into the trees and away from the main path. "If your gonna camp out there's a small spring nearby that has got a bit of cover from the wind and rain; it isn't much, but it sure is plenty." He commented as he led his way into the shadowy forest. Most people would think he'd lost his marbles should they catch him going voluntarily into the forest. Rumors spread quickly that monsters hid out and well, they weren't too far from the truth. Lon hid here often to make sure no one got hurt when he went crazy for blood and carnage. "So, Mocking, what exactly is your mission if you don't mind me asking. 'Swear I won't tell a soul, I'm pretty good at keeping secrets. I don't have a lot of people to tell anyways." e said with a slightly sagging shrug.

Mocking didn't know any of the names mentioned. She was often hidden from sight also, and being hidden made it hard to know people. Unfortunately for her that would have to change, and there would be the annoyance of being questioned. Her only real concerned were priests and anyone with a tight religion connected to light angels.
"I don't know any of them, but a light angel. Well were certainly not going to mix, probably best I avoid her. You know, typical dark and light feuds." Mocking said. It was probably for the best, she could forget a lot faster now. Besides, she didn't know Lon that well and he looked different, that was certain. However she didn't question it. She nodded when they walked through the rain towards some shelter where she could camp for the night and get a house in the morning.
Rain, I am surprised I liked it when I was a kid, now it a pest that makes my wings heavy. Mocking thought as she followed him though the darkness. Until they got a small clearing with a thicket of branches that kept the rain out well. The wind still hovered, but it could hardly touch her now. Her mission was however mentioned and her father told her to keep anything like that on the down low.
"Can't say anything. Its all coincidental, even if you swear to secrecy." Mocking explained, folding her arms and leaning against an oak tree.

Lon held up his hands in innocence, "You're the one who mentioned it. But I won't pry, after all, everyone has their dirty secret." He said, going from a retort to a simple statement. He flicked his pointed ears, the tips of his bleached hair darkening ever so slowly and his eyes almost seeming to have a blue hue instead of fiery orange like they did before. He let his wings block out most of the rain drops that now dotted the ground and poured from the heavens. He glanced up at the grey clouds, the monochrome colors seeming to infect everything else and putting a filter of depression and melancholy on the city. He sighed and sat against on of the neighboring trees to where he once stood. It wouldn't be long now before he'd go through the painful transformation from spiteful demon to Lon The Ass once again. He cringed just thinking about his large wings having to morph back into his back, blood would pour form the wounds and would heal as quickly as they came, but the pain would last hours. His horns never left his head unfortunately. WHen he went full demon he wasn't able to conjure up a glamour to hide his true nature and instead had to hide out in the forest or some abandoned building until the affects wore off. And if he was too far away from one of the two he'd tether himself with a spindle of silver wire and bind himself as to not hurt anyone innocent. It was his nightmare, the thing that haunted his slumber each night and kept him awake for hours, cursing and lying awake in fear of going psycho. He looked at Mocking then back to his own hands, the claws now disappearing. He leaned his head against the tree and glanced back at the dark angel. "So what are your plans after the storm blows over. I'm trying not assume you'll just camp out here, because whatever your doing, you won't get much progress done from here." He commented cheekily.
